ASCarrier owned by three families - Braun, Fehr and Kilic - with a successful mutual history in manufacturing clamping profiles spanning over 40 years - or as early as the beginning of the lanced metal method.  

 

It all started in a small tool-shop in Cleveland, Ohio (USA), back in the 1970's when Swiss engineer Eduard Fehr, together with his cousin, invented the lanced metal method. While his cousin founded Arrowhead Industries in the USA Eduard Fehr went back to Europe to join forces with Hans Braun where they started their own corporation "Braun, Fehr und Co.", today known as BFC. Over the decades they grew their company to one of the leading players in the clamping-profile-industry. Cemal Kilic who joined the BFC during this period also became a shareholder and one of the pillars of their success.

After selling their shares in the 2000's the three friends parted ways, but only to see Eduard Fehr and Hans Braun to reunite again a few years later, to start a new venture in the clamping profile industry. The lack of a single supplier of all three clamping profiles was the reason to re-enter the market - only this time with a unique product line-up. Still, there was a missing piece for the perfect reunion: in 2015 Cemal Kilic joined his friends to become a shareholder and the general manager of ASCarrier. Together with the second generation they are all-in again to shape the clamping profile industry once again.
